Seminar: Nonequilibrium quantum heat transport between structured environments

Dr Graeme Pleasance, a postdoctoral researcher in the Quantum@SUN group at Stellenbosch University, presented his latest work on nonequilibrium quantum heat transport between structured environments. The talk focused on extending the well-known nonequilibrium spin-boson model (NESB) to explore new insights where the usual Ohmic baths are augmented with pairs of coupled harmonic oscillators.
